Uptown Properties is now hiring!


Our company is a combination of Property Management, Real Estate Brokerage, and Construction. We are looking for someone who is organized and has great communication skills. Someone that is willing to put in the extra effort to make sure the job is complete. We are in need of an experienced Project Coordinator to take over the following responsibilities including but not limited to:


Responsibilities:

  • Administrative duties
  • Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures
  • Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings
  • Document and follow-up on important actions and decisions from the meetings
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts with contractors
  • Develop scope of work and budget
  • Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings
  • Ensure project deadlines are met
  • Determine project changes if necessary
  • Provide administrative support as needed
  • Take over project tasks as required
  • Develop project strategies
  • Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
  • Assess project risks and issues. Project coordinator should be able to provide applicable solutions
  • Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution


Skills required: 

  • Take initiative
  • Clear and effective oral and written communication
  • Experience in the related field
  • Proficient use of word processing and computer hardware and software (e.g., MS Office, Google Sheets, etc.)
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
  • Ability to follow directions and pay close attention to details


Qualifications:

  • Experience in property management and project coordinator or maintenance coordinator role is preferred
  • Experience in handling and completing property projects
  • Must be punctual, reliable and caring about their work ethic
  • Ability to critically think and problem solve
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
